Scandinavian groups can be really popular here in the U.K. Look at ABBA! More recently, take Peter, Bjorn and John for example. They took Britain by storm with hit single 'The Young Folks' and continue to benefit from a healthy following here. Loney, Dear have that same mild sound as Peter, Bjorn and John but unlike them they aren't any good.
Fair enough 'Saturday Waits' is different, it's light and it's gentle but that doesn't make it good. The singing is awful and the instrumentation is equally as bad. All that said, top marks for effort, no marks for conviction.
