Miss Piggy was indie rocker-turned-fashionista Beth Ditto's style icon growing up.
The curvy Gossip star, who launched her own plus-size fashion range at this year's (16) London Fashion Week, looked up to Miss Piggy ever since she was a little girl growing up in Arkansas.
"She was a role model for me as a little girl, but I think I was just looking for someone who looked like me," she told Britain's Marie Claire magazine.
The outspoken 34-year-old singer-songwriter, who releases solo material later this year, believes the buxom Muppets diva is a powerful fashion symbol for plus-size women.

Harry Styles has stolen the headlines so far at London Fashion Week
It seems as though London Fashion Week has been dominated by two characters: Cara Delevingne and Harry Styles. The latter isn't even anything to do with the thing, but he keeps turning up and stealing the headlines away from the various designers showing at this year's event.

On Monday, Styles turned out to watch Delevingne on the catwalk and returned on Tuesday with his best pal Nick Grimshaw. The pair chatted away on the front row of the Fashion East show in the Topshop Show Space.
Victoria Beckham reportedly wants another baby, following David's move to Paris.
Could a fifth Beckham baby be on the way? It's been just 18 months since Victoria and David Beckham welcomed their first daughter Harper into the brood, though according to insiders at London Fashion Week, Victoria has been openly discussing the possibility of having a fifth Beckham baby!
The fashion designer and football star also have three sons, Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, and Cruz, 7, though it appears David's recent move to Paris Saint-Germain has paved the way for another baby. A source told Closer magazine: "(Victoria) was making cheeky comments to everyone at Fashion Week who congratulated her about David's Paris move and asked her if she's planning on opening a Paris boutique. She quipped, 'Maybe - and maybe we'll get a Paris baby, too!' She's besotted with Harper and says she'd love another girl." The timing certainly works, with Victoria and David now settled in Europe for the foreseeable future, though the 37-year-old sports star is thought to be reluctant to have another baby. An insider explained: "David's been doing most of the work with the boys over the past few weeks, while Victoria prepared for New York Fashion Week, and although he loves every moment he spends with them, he'd like some time to unwind. He's not sure he can handle another one in nappies and sleepless nights."
Speaking on Jonathan Ross' ITV1 chat show last year, David declared, "We might have one more or two more, you never know. We're not thinking about it yet, but if it happens, great."

You’d think being compared to Victoria Beckham would be a compliment, but for Cara Delevingne it’s something that hasn’t gone down too well.
Enigmatic American fashion designer Tom Ford will make his London Fashion Week debut in the capital tonight (February 18, 2013), no doubt attracting a slew of celebrities and a global audience of fashionistas. The former Gucci designer has previously introduced his collections at relatively low-key private showings in front of exclusively selected audiences.
The chance to attend Tom Ford's first womenswear catwalk show is a massive incentive for press and buyers though such is the rarity of the designer's show, the official London Fashion Week website simply lists tonight's venue as: SEE INVITE. Ford is certainly a shadowy figure in the world of fashion, though has his designing fingers in various pies. In 2005, he opened production company Fade To Black, through which he directed, produced and co-wrote his first feature film A Single Man, which landed Colin Firth a nomination for Best Actor at the Oscars.
Few events held in the English capital draw out as many celebs as London Fashion Week, and this year has proved to be no exception as the stars have sparkled since the week-long extravaganza kicked off on Friday (September 14th).
One event in particular that got the front rows packed with A-Listers was the House of Holland show by UK designer and friend to the stars Henry Holland, who proved it is always good to have a few friends in high places. During yesterday's (September 15th) show, famous faces and friends of Holland including Nicola Roberts, Kelly Osbourne and Alexa Chung, were out in force to show their support and maybe get an idea or two for when it comes to re-hauling their wardrobes after the event.
Pixie Geldof and model/socialite Poppy Delevingne were also in attendance at the front of the runway's crowd.
