Lolawolf are singer Zoe Kravitz, James Levy, Raviv Ullman and Jimmy Giannopoulos. With an EP on the way on Innit Recordings, they've already infiltrated the internet with the sensual synth pop of Drive and Wanna Have Fun's two and a half minutes of crackling, shadowy pop.
The first musical sketches of Lolawolf came into being while singer and actress Zoe Kravitz was filming in LA. Worn down by the mental and physical demands of her role as an anorexic in forthcoming film The Road Within, Zoe was joined by friends James Levy, Raviv Ullman and Jimmy Giannopoulos. "It was really draining emotionally and physically, so I needed something to sort of keep my mind off of that," the 24-year-old actress explains. "Music was like my therapy."
