Australian tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt is seeking damages from a Sydney restaurant magnate after he and his wife Bec Cartwright were photographed during a cruise.

Hewitt and Cartwright allege restaurant owners CHRISTOPHER and Judith Crawley, who organised the cruise, had a freelance photographer take images of them on board the vessel before selling them for publication in Sydney's Sun Herald.

The 24-year-old was in court yesterday (05FEB06) to demand compensation for the invasive pictures, which cost him an exclusive deal with another publication.

The Crawley's are counter-suing Hewitt, accusing him of failing to pay an agreed amount of $2,880 (GBP1,600) for a previous five-hour cruise.
