Iconic entertainer Liza Minnelli is teaming up with Broadway legend Harvey Fierstein to honour the late founder of American cultural institution the Kennedy Center.
The theatrical pair will host a gala tribute to Roger L. Stevens at the centre in Washington D.C. on 2 May (10), which will star a host of Broadway's biggest stars.
Stevens established the Kennedy Center in 1961, after late U.S. President John F. Kennedy asked him to create a National Cultural Center, which was later named after JFK.
Stevens, who ran the centre until 1988, and died in 1998, would have celebrated his 100th birthday on 12 March (10).
