Former House star Lisa Edelstein has hit back at reports she was fired from the hit medical drama for refusing to take a pay cut, but she doubts she'll be welcomed back for the show's final episodes next year (12).
The pretty brunette played Hugh Laurie's boss and lover in House and she left unexpectedly this summer (11) amid claims she'd fallen out with TV bosses.
And although her character, Dr. Lisa Cuddy, wasn't properly written out of the show, Edelstein feels sure she won't be invited back.
She tells TV Guide magazine, "Leaving was not something I planned on doing... (but) I was definitely not fired. I have yet to read see any correct information about what happened.
"The story doesn't need to be told. It's not good for anybody's business. I don't have any enemies over there. I want to make it clear I loved my experience on House. It was (just) a lousy ending."
