Lindsay Lohan's representative has dismissed speculation the actress was dropped from a film as other actors refused to work with her.
A report on deadlinehollywooddaily.com said Lohan had been dropped from the Manson Girls film over other actors' concerns.
But Lohan's spokeswoman, Leslie Sloane, said she would not be appearing in the film due to scheduling issues and other roles.
"Unfortunately [the Manson movie] didn't come together quickly enough, and she was offered other roles, which she accepted and is looking forward to doing," Sloane told the Reuters news agency.
Fans of the hit US show Ugly Betty are set to see Lohan in six episodes of the magazine drama.
Sloane said the 21-year-old would also be appearing in a film comedy entitled Labor Pains.
Lohan has not appeared on screens since the 2007 flop I Know Who Killed Me, for which she won the embarrassing Razzie award for worst actress.
She rose to fame with roles in The Parent Trap and Mean Girls.
