Lindsay Lohan has revealed that she would like her new album to be a party classic in the style of Kylie Minogue and Rihanna.
The young actress, who has previously released two albums SPEAK and A LITTLE MORE PERSONAL, added that she hopes to tour with the record, telling Now magazine "I hope to really promote it".
Lindsay is currently recording tracks for the upcoming album in New York and LA, however the songs won't give any insight into her well-documented party lifestyle and subsequent stints in rehab.
"I think the past is the past and it should be kept there," she told People magazine.
"It's a new slate for me, and I want to show that in my new record."
Meanwhile, Lindsay has stated that she will not appear on her mum's impending reality show LIVING LOHAN.
The E! Reality show will star Lindsay's 14-year-old sister Ali Lohan and follow her attempts to launch a glittering career of her own with the help of mum Dina.
Showbizspy.com reports that a source overheard the Mean Girls star telling pals she will have no role in it.
