Lindsay Lohan is "ready" to leave prison.

The troubled actress - who is expected to be released from the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, as early as today (02.08.10) - is desperate to leave and be reunited with her family before she starts her court-ordered 90-day rehab stay.

Lindsay's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley said: "She is ready."

Judge Marsha Revel handed Lindsay a 90-day jail term and ordered her to enter a rehabilitation facility straight after her release for breaking the terms of her probation for a 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) charge.

But Lindsay's lawyer is still fighting to get the 24-year-old star some time with her loved ones first.

Holley said: "It's up to the judge. I am hoping she'll have some time with her family before she goes to rehab. She's trying to comply with all the courts orders, but she should she able to spend 24 hours at home, in my opinion."

It has been claimed Lindsay will be treated at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles instead of Morningside Recovery facility as planned - after two court-appointed psychiatrists told Judge Revel they felt it would better fit Lindsay's needs.

Gossip website TMZ reported: "It was the facility favoured by everyone because the treatment program was perfectly suited for Lindsay's psychiatric and drug problems.

"We're told Lindsay will not be in the psych ward - rather this is an intense specialised program to deal with psychological, as well as addiction problems."
