Actress Lindsay Lohan breathes a breath of fresh air as she steps out of rehab and back into sober society.
Will it be different this time? Lindsay Lohan has left rehab after a 90-day stay at the Cliffside Malibu Rehab Center in California. The Mean Girls actress is the first to admit that she's not ready to enter society again just yet with a plan to give herself the best chance of recovery. TMZ has learned that the star plans to stagger her entry back into society by spending a few days living in a "lower level, sober living house."
For Real This Time? Scepticism Surrounds Lindsay's Latest Rehab Vow Of Sobriety.
Apparently, trusted sources connected with Ms. Lohan have indicated that despite countless previous failed and insincere stints in rehab, she may have turned over a new leaf: "It's like invasion of the body snatchers. She's a different person."
Lindsay is reportedly putting off moving back to New York City because she's worried she'll fall victim to temptation, as she has previously done time and time again. However, this time it has been reported that the Freaky Friday former child star has reeled off a list of 80 "toxic" friends she feels are a bad influence and that she could do without in her life, supposedly including her father Michael - it's like the "Burn Book" but for real this time!
Lindsay Has Struggled With Alcohol & Drug Addiction.
Can this help her stay clean and sober? The 27 year-old actress attended Alcoholics Anonymous meetings from as far back as 2006 and has faced criticism for being a heavy smoker despite her asthma.
Her first entry to rehab was in 2007 for 30 days but shortly after release she was arrested on DUI charges for having lost control of her car whilst drunk. She entered rehab once more but landed herself into trouble once again by being discovered drunk. From then on, her life has been charted by a revolving door of rehab stints, a succession of run-ins with the law, plenty of bad press and fall-outs with her family and friends.
A talented performer; let's hope "LiLo" sticks to her guns this time, trims the "toxic" fat from her social life and gets her head and heart back into acting so.
