Lindsay Lohan's publicist has fired back at reports and Twitter gossip suggesting the actress irked the cast of Glee on her second day of filming the season finale on Wednesday (25Apr12) by showing up late.
Show regular Dot Marie Jones sparked the drama by tweeting, "Not cool", after telling followers, "Some ppl (people) show up late and just throw a wrench in things."
She didn't name guest star Lohan, who plays a talent judge in the one-off episode, but insiders claimed that is exactly who she was referring to in her tweet, which was later removed.
But now Lohan's publicist Steve Honig has told E! that his client wasn't tardy - she was in hair and make-up.
He says, "The production team came to us and said that they wanted to start right after lunch, which was at two. They wanted to begin with Lindsay at three, so that meant she had a lot of time where she wasn't doing anything. That's why people didn't see her. She was then in hair and make-up and began after lunch at three.
"If there was a problem yesterday, I would have just said, 'No comment', however I can't ignore this because this is utter B.S. This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay. She busted her a** yesterday and is back on set again today."
