The robbery charges against Lindsay Lohan and her assistant Gavin Doyle have been dropped due to lack of evidence.
Lindsay Lohan will not be prosecuted over a robbery at her friend's mansion.
The charges against the 26-year-old star and her assistant Gavin Doyle have been dropped after prosecutors ruled there was no concrete evidence to link them to the incident which took place on August 18 in her friend Sam Magid's Hollywood Hills home.
The prosecutor wrote in a charge evaluation form: ''We do not have sufficient evidence to prove this case beyond a reasonable doubt.
''One of the suspects makes a vague admission that he and The Others were there, and that 'someone' took something but is not more specific than that.
''The fact that our suspects are found in a car that is similar to the one seen at the time of the burglary adds little to the case.''
The 'Liz & Dick' actress' friend Sam took back his original claim that car keys, cash, sunglasses and a credit card holder were stolen from his property.
Lindsay's spokesman Steve Honig commented: ''Lindsay is glad this matter has been cleared up so she can focus on her upcoming projects.''
The party-loving starlet has also been banned from legendary Los Angeles nightspot, the Chateau Marmont hotel after not coughing up the cash for her $46,350.04 bill.
