Lindsay Lohan received mix reviews for her Saturday Night Live hosting performance on Saturday (February 3, 2012), but her acting performance during a pre-recorded interview with Matt Lauer appears to have been first-class. Lohan described herself as a "homebody" and said her partying days were over, but revellers at a Chinatown hotspot could argue differently.
Not even 24 hours had passed after the interview was aired, when Lindsay reportedly headed to the Le Baron nightclub and partied until 4am. According to the New York Daily News, one source says two men were sitting with Lohan and got into a jealous spat over the actress, which prompted her to leave. The eyewitness said that one of the men had declared Lohan "his girl" to his rival, and a bitter argument ensued. Her highly touted appearance Saturday Night Live was panned by critics, though the actress scored huge ratings, with the episode the second most watched of the series thus far. The actress was criticized for appearing wooden on stage, while also relying too heavily on cue cards. Entertainment Weekly asked in a headline, "Worst host of the year?", while the Los Angeles Times observed that Lohan's "comeback train is stuck at the station".
