Lindsay Lohan has been granted a two-year restraining order against stalker David Cocordan.
Lindsay Lohan has won a two-year restraining order against a crazed fan.
The troubled actress was granted the ruling by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Joseph Biderman after a hearing in Santa Monica, California today (08.06.11) after claiming she was living in fear since June 2009 due to David Cocordan bombarding her with text messages and showing up at her home with chocolates and magazine articles he had doctored to make it appear as if they were dating.
Neither Lindsay or Cocordan attended today's hearing.
Lindsay has previously said: "Without a restraining order I fear that there will not be sufficient law enforcement mechanisms to keep Mr. Cocordan away from me, or those around me."
The actress also signed a declaration claiming her had called or texted her more than 100 times to express "delusional thoughts and irrational feelings about his belief that [he and Lohan] are in a relationship".
The declaration states a Los Angeles Police District detective in the Threat Management Department looked into Cocordan and discovered he suffers from schizophrenia, is off his medication and has a "significant psychiatric history of acting on his delusional beliefs".
Recently, Lindsay claimed Cocordan had claimed to kill her and even posted a picture of him on her twitter page in the grounds of her home, although it was later removed.
She wrote: "This is the freemason stalker that has been threatening to kill me - while he is TRESPASSING!
"im actually scared now- the blood in the 'cults' book was too much.
"All my fans, my supporters, please stand by me. (sic)"
