Lily Allen has decided attempting to break America is "boring" and has postponed the next leg of her US tour.
The 21-year-old singer has admitted she is tired of touring and is becoming increasingly homesick, despite performing at sell out gigs stateside.
Allen also added she was "itching to get back into the studio" to record her second album, following the success of her debut ALRIGHT, STILL both in the UK and the US. After performing a handful more dates, the youngster will put back a further 20 in the US before returning to the UK.
Lily, who is a keen blogger, joked on her MySpace profile: "I thought that being a pop star meant going out getting trashed with famous people and sleeping in all day.
"The fact that this is not true has come as a huge disappointment to me and as a result I am throwing the towel in."
She had previously admitted that she felt she was not giving her best to her fans and has laid into Americans, calling southerners "backwards" and slating GEORGE Bush.
