Lily Allen doesn't think she'll win any Brit Awards this year.

Despite being nominated in three categories - Best Single for 'The Fear', Best Album for 'It's Not Me, It's You' and Best Female - at tonight's (16.02.10) ceremony, Lily thinks she will walk away empty handed in a repeat of her disappointment in 2007, when she was nominated for four awards, but won nothing.

She told The Sun newspaper: "I never win awards for my music - ever - and I'm not holding out any hopes tonight.

"My chances are pretty slim because Florence and the Machine are obviously the favourite in the Best Female category."

"I don't think my album is the best album of the year, even though I've got more sales than everyone bar Susan Boyle."

Although Lily is pessimistic, she has one supporter- Leona Lewis said she is backing her in the Best Female category.

Leona said: "If I had to put money down, mine would be on Lily Allen."

Leona is another singer who has had several nominations at the BRIT Awards, but never won, although she said she doesn't feel she needs accolades for her own artistic validation.

She said: "It's nice to be nominated but I've never won one and it's by no means the be all and end all. I don't need that kind of approval."
