Lily Allen's husband Sam Cooper could well find himself in the dog house after he ignored the couples first wedding anniversary yesterday (June 11, 2012) in favour of watching the footy. Lily Allen revealed to her fans that it was her anniversary, via Twitter and then posted a message saying "And there's no fancy table booked for dinner cause it's there's an England game" followed by a crying-faced emoticon.
Lily may well have fortune and fame on her side but that didn't stop her joining legions of football widows and widowers yesterday as Sam watched England draw 1-1 against France in the Euros. Instead of being taken out to a nice restaurant, Lily was left pondering their happy day, one year ago, when she walked up the aisle and had their first dance to Tommy MCLain's 'Before I Grow Too Old.' So, whilst Sam was busy enjoying the footie, Lily was left watching YouTube videos to remind herself of her wedding day and posting them on Twitter.
Sam's saving grace could well be that there seems to be some kind of party lined up for the weekend, as Lily, 27, called out for advice for her Twitter followers as to whether or not to cancel her party plans for the weather. Since they married a year ago, Lily and Sam have kept a low profile and the 'Smile' singer has resisted posting photos online of her baby Ethel.
