Pop star Lily Allen has slammed British tabloids for their sexist attitudes, accusing them of focusing on the drunken antics of female stars and ignoring those of their male counterparts. The 22-year-old singer is regularly featured on the pages of gossip magazines on a night out - along with fellow British pop females Amy Winehouse and Kelly Osbourne - but is adamant this trend is caused more by the sexist journalists than the public's interest in them. She says, "I don't think (the tabloids) like young women doing well, or having fun. I mean, James Blunt goes out and gets on it and no one cares. We do that and it's all over the papers. "It's sad. Those people who write for those gossip magazines, they're not even writers. They can't even punctuate."
