Lily Allen has won damages over false claims she launched a bitter rant about THE BECKHAMS and Cheryl Cole in a French magazine.
The singer was last year (09) reported to have lashed out against Cole, while labelling Victoria Beckham a "monster" in an interview with So Foot. She was also said to have branded the former Spice Girl and her soccer star husband David a "sickening" couple.
Allen promptly denied giving an interview to the soccer publication - and she has now accepted undisclosed damages from So Foot editors at London's High Court.
The star's solicitor Mark Thomson says, "(Allen's) reputation has been vindicated."
The Smile hitmaker previously sued editors of British tabloid The Sun for defamation and false attribution of authorship when they reprinted the alleged quotes. She was awarded $15,000 (£10,000) from the newspaper's publishers, News Group Newspapers, in October (09).
