Lil Wayne has been released from hospital and is resting at home after an in-flight medical scare yesterday (25.10.12).

The 'Lollipop' hitmaker's private jet was forced to make an emergency landing after he was said to have suffered ''seizure-like symptoms'', and it has now emerged the 30-year-old rapper has been treated for a severe migraine and dehydration and he's thanked all his fans for their ''support and love''.

He representative told TMZ: ''He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.''

Wayne - whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. - was rushed to hospital the moment his jet touched down in Texas yesterday after the pilot radioed in to say the rapper was suffering a seizure.

The 'No Worries' hitmaker is currently preparing for the release of his 10th album, 'I Am Not a Human Being II', which is due to drop in December.

What's more, Wayne is also involved in a dispute with Quincy Jones III and recently filed a lawsuit against the producer for using his music in a documentary film.

Wayne claims he never gave Quincy permission to use his material in 'The Carter', a movie about the rapper.
