Rapper Lil Scrappy has been released from an Atlanta, Georgia jail following his arrest for a probation violation.
The hip-hop star, real name Darryl Kevin Richardson Ii, was taken into custody and booked at the DeKalb County Jail on Monday (01Oct12) after allegedly breaking the terms of his probation relating to a prior drugs conviction.
According to Tmz.com, the incident occurred on 4 September (12), when he was accused of failing to check in with his probation officer. He also reportedly forgot to alert authorities to a change of address.
Lil Scrappy was sentenced to five years' probation in 2008 after cops found marijuana on his person.
The pair recently enjoyed their first visit to the interactive experience in New York.
