LIL' KIM's manager DAMON BUTLER has pleaded guilty to firing a handgun during a shootout in New York in 2001.
The gun battle, which left one man in hospital with a gunshot wound to his back, took place outside the offices of New York radio station HOT 97 when the entourages of rival rap stars Lil' Kim and Capone-N-Noreaga came face to face.
Butler admitted firing a gun, "With the intent of hurting someone." He has also pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to obtain and travelling under a false passport.
Lil' Kim - who testified on three occasions that Butler wasn't present at the scene of the shootout - will stand trial next month (28FEB05) on charges of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, perjury and lying to the Federal Grand Jury.31/01/2005 17:34
