'Sounds Like Friday Night' is a mixture of music and comedy that's coming to BBC One on October 27th.
More details have been released about the BBC’s new flagship music show, ‘Sounds Like Friday Night’, revealing that Liam Payne and Jason Derulo will be among the first guest hosts and that its first performers will include Liam Gallagher and Jessie Ware.
The show has been billed as a mix-up of ‘Top of the Pops meets Saturday Night Live’, and will include a combination of music and comedy, and appears on BBC One for the first time on October 27th at 7:30pm.
BBC Radio 1’s Greg James and 1Xtra’s A.Dot will be the regular presenters of ‘Sounds Like Friday Night’, with a guest presenter helping to put their own spin on proceedings.
Payne was out for a meal with his parents when a cameraman decided to try to record the private moment.
Liam Payne has detailed the exact moment when he realised that he couldn’t bear life in One Direction any longer – when a clumsy encounter with a cameraman while he was out with his parents for a meal tipped him over the edge.
The 24 year old singer was out with his parents, Geoff and Karen, for dinner when a cameraman, intent on filming the private moment, ended up bumping into his mother and knocking her to the floor. It was at this point that the constant intrusions that come with fame sparked an emotional reaction in Liam.
“I just wanted a burger with my parents,” Payne told the Daily Star on Thursday (October 5th). “I cried my eyes out. I thought, ‘I can’t do this’ and I really hated my life.”
Liam first met Cheryl on ‘The X Factor’, when he was just 14.
The couple have quite the unusual love story, having first met when Liam auditioned for the ‘X-Factor’ when he was just 14.
But now nine years later, the former One Direction singer says he feels like the talent show's biggest winner -because he eventually landed Cheryl.
