While eating at restaurant Puny in Portofino, Italy, last week, the 24 year-old actor was overheard gushing about how close he and Cyrus still are.
Just because Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are no longer in a relationship doesn't mean they cannot be friends.
The 'Hunger Games' star reportedly only had good words to say about the controversial 21 year-old singer when dining out with friends at restaurant Puny in Portofino, Italy, last week.
In fact, their relationship must have ended on rather good terms as Hemsworth was overheard saying to his pals that himself and Cyrus "will always be best friends," according to the New York Post.
Jennifer Lawrence channelled Panem’s District 1 whilst appearing at the Cannes film festival. The 23-year-old actress appeared alongside her ‘Hunger Games’ co-stars wearing an unusual Dior skirt and top.
Jennifer Lawrence was joined by her fellow Hunger Games cast whilst in Cannes on Saturday 17th May. The actress, best known for playing Katniss Everdeen, has turned heads over the last year with her daring yet brilliantly executed red carpet looks.
Jennifer Lawrence's matching skirt and top certainly turned heads at the Cannes' photocall.
The 23-year-old looked lovely with her short hair curled and resting just below her ear. She wore an unusual outfit which included a white skirt complete with frilled mesh and a crop top which a pattern which would not have looked out of place in the Panem’s District 1. The Dior top was emblazoned with a motif, designed to look like a window in which a sea-side landscape could be clearly seen. The back of her unusual top was split and looked as if she were wearing a pair of wings. She completed the two piece ensemble with silver earrings and matching pointed silver heeled shoes.
With a strong cast and striking production values, this thriller is sleek enough to hold our interest even if corporate espionage isn't a very exciting topic for the movies. As the title suggests, the film is trying to tap into the fear that our lives are being controlled by technology. But the script never goes anywhere with this idea, instead drifting through the usual plot involving shady bad guys, dark conspiracies and plucky heroics. All of which we've seen far too many times before.
It centres on young technical genius Adam (Hemsworth), who needs cash to pay the medical bills for his ill father (Dreyfuss). Working with his pal Kevin (Till), he goes for a big promotion but is instead sacked by his boss Wyatt (Oldman). The next morning, Wyatt makes Adam an offer he can't refuse: a chance to earn a fortune by spying on chief competitor Goddard (Ford). But this new undercover job brings all kinds of worries as Adam sees shadowy nastiness lurking around every corner. He's also suspicious that a recent one-night stand, Emma (Heard), works for Goddard. And that there's a strange man (Holloway) following his every move.
Rather than explore corrupt corporate culture or the idea that technology has eroded our privacy, the filmmakers create a fairly pedestrian thriller that tries to blind us with fake techno-speak and corny emotions. The plot continually hints that it will get darker and more momentous, but it never does. All of the stakes feel oddly small, the chain of events doesn't quite hang together and the characters never feel like more than rough outlines.

Chris Hemsworth seems like the obvious choice to play Thor, but these other actors were also considered for the role.
After owning the role in two hit movies, it’s hard to imagine any one other than gorgeous blond man-mountain, Chris Hemsworth, playing Marvel Comics superhero, Thor. You can’t even hear the word “Thor” without Chris coming into mind (we definitely don’t just sit here chanting “Thor” for this exact reason. Ahum).
Thor has been played by Chris Hemsworth in both movies
But if you thought that he was the first choice to play the role, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Chris’ potential apparently didn’t shine through immediately for the producers, and although he auditioned early he was put to one side while other actors auditioned. Imagine if one of these actors had won the role instead of Chris. It’ll be hard to think about, but sometimes life is tough.
Miley Cyrus gave some advice to Justin Bieber which, considering his current record, he'd better take. The singer appeared on 'The Tonight Show' on Thursday (30th January) and discussed her troubled young friend. She has also, in a recent magazine interview, spoken about her relationship with former fiancé, Liam Hemsworth.
Miley Cyrus has recently spoken about Justin Bieber and Liam Hemsworth.
The 21-year-old 'Wrecking Ball' singer was direct and said: "I would just say you know what you got a lot of money pay people to make sure you don't get in trouble." She continued by saying "And party at your house. Buy a house and add a club to it." It is sound advice especially as Bieber has been spotted far too many times misbehaving in public. Within the last week along Bieber's plane was searched for drugs when he arrived in New Jersey for the Super Bowl parties and he was photographed licking a stripper's nipples.

For Miley, being single took some getting used to.
Barbara Walters is known to be able to wriggle the most intimate details out of her interviewees, so it’s no surprise when she sat down with Miley Cyrus, the conversation quickly turned to Liam Hemsworth and the most discussed breakup of the year. The interview was part of Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013 and revealed a side of Miley, which we’ve glimpsed rarely, if ever, in between her made-to-shock public appearances and propensity to grind on everything.
Miley and Liam announced their breakup this fall.
A newly sincere and vulnerable Miley explained about her engagement with the younger Hemsworth brother: "I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year.”
The British actor was voted as the 'Sexiest Man Alive' by Glamour magazine
Henry Cavill has topped the latest poll by Glamour magazine to determine the '100 Sexiest Men Alive.' The Man of Steel actor took the top spot from four-time winner of the accolade Robert Pattinson, who after four consecutive years of being declared the world's biggest hunk, fell down to number two this year.
Henry Cavill is apparently the sexiest man alive
The Twilight-star has long been a favourite for the magazine when compiling their yearly list of sexiest men, but this year the spandex-wearing DC superhero Cavill proved too dashing to ignore, as he leaped to the top spot. Cavill was chosen as the sexiest man alive by the magazine on the back of his successful turn as Superman in the blockbuster Man of Steel, with his chiselled abs and facial features probably going some way towards securing his spot at the top of the poll too.

A predictably busy box office for the holidays.
It was a familiar sight at the top of the box office this weekend, with Hunger Games: Catching Fire dominating proceedings at the summit, while Frozen – a newcomer for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend – debuted with a strong second-place performance.
On set - The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
The Francis Lawrence-directed, Jennifer Lawrence-starring epic has dominated cinematic proceedings over the past few weeks, and the holiday weekend pushed it towards the $300m mark with an added $74.5m to the ever-growing total. It now stands at $573m worldwide, and is the third-highest grossing film domestically this year, with a good chance of reaching the $409m mark set by Iron Man 3.
Liam Hemsworth appears alongside his 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' co-stars, including Jennifer Lawrence and Elizabeth Banks, at the movie's New York premiere held at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater.
Sorry Miley but Liam Hemsworth is "much happier" now he is a single man!
Australian actor Liam Hemsworth has been very busy as of late, with commitments to take part in vast amounts of interviews and chat show appearances.
The rigours schedule is part of his huge worldwide press tour to promote upcoming film 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire'.
Throughout all the interviews the 23 year-old has managed to avoid questions about his well-publicised break up with pop-star Miley Cyrus as they called off their engagement this past September (2013).
Catching Fire is a clear winner for this weekend's box office, but what about beyond that?
We all knew The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was going to take over the box office, but it might be an even bigger one than expected. Catching Fire is an appropriate title, given how fast the buzz has spread, giving the movie a head start of $25.25 million in the US, according to Deadline.
Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, looking fierce while being cold, presumably.
These are just the earnings from early screenings on Thursday as well. At its current pace, the Catching Fire mania is set to beat the previous record holder for December, The Twilight Saga: New Moon. The 2009 film was also a young adult wonder, one of the first to kick start the current Hollywood trend.
Fans finally get to see The Hunger Games sequel, as the casts of Black Nativity, Dallas Buyers Club and Her walk red carpets. Also, new trailers bow for Bieber's Believe, Frost's Cuban Fury and Crowe's Noah...
This week is pretty much all about The Hunger Games as Catching Fire arrives in cinemas around the world. After last week's world premiere in London, the cast headed back to America for back-to-back premieres in Los Angeles and New York. Meanwhile, a range of clips and short online features have whipped up fan frenzy to potentially record-breaking box office potential. Take a look over all the best bits of the American premiere's here or our The Hunger Games: Catching Fire critics round up here or just read our own review here.
Slightly less flashy was the New York premiere of the Christmas drama Black Nativity, attended by stars Angela Bassett, Jennifer Hudson and Forest Whitaker, all caught by paparazzi on the red carpet looking very glamorous. The film opens in time for the holidays. Check out our videos from the event Jacob Latimore and Angela Bassett arrive, Jennifer Hudson shows off her stunning pixie crop and Forest Whitaker takes his family to 'Black Nativity' NY Premiere.
'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire', due to be released in the US today (22nd November), has received glowing reviews from critics.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was released in the UK yesterday (21st November) and in the USA today (22nd November). Critics have responded positively to the film which continues the tale of Katniss Everdeen and the dystopia of Panem.

Catching Fire continues the story of Katniss Everdeen, the winner of the Hunger Games, after she returns home to district 12. As a winner of the games she leads a relatively comfortable life. However, after witnessing horrific cruelty during the Hunger Games, she begins to notice further cracks the Panem system. Everdeen is forced back into the arena in order to compete again alongside her fellow competitor Peeta.

After 2012's The Hunger Games caught us off-guard with its subtle themes, this sequel more than lives up to the hype, dramatically expanding the scale of the action while letting the actors deepen their characters. It's a full-on action epic that cleverly retains author Suzanne Collins' narrative trick of telling the story through a flawed perspective. And it provides the needed push to give the whole saga real momentum.
We join our heroes not long after the last film ended: Katniss and Peeta (Lawrence and Hutcherson) are in trouble for challenging the authority of President Snow (Sutherland) and sowing the seeds of rebellion in the districts. Now they have to travel around the nation with their team - drunken mentor Haymitch (Harrelson), preening manager Effie (Banks), quietly subversive designer Cinna (Kravitz) - soothing ruffled feathers. But of course they only make things worse. So new Gamesmaker Plutarch (Hoffman) plots a way to force them back into the games with all of the past victors, so they can be wiped out for good. And Katniss is so busy worrying about protecting Peeta that she fails to remember who the true enemy is.
Screenwriters Beaufoy and deBruyn (aka Oscar-winner Michael Arndt) inventively maintain Katniss' narrow, inaccurate point-of-view right through the film, which keeps the audience wrong-footed all the way to the end. It's an exhilarating trick that makes the tour of the districts painfully dull and the return to the games utterly horrifying. It also gives Lawrence the chance to flex her own Oscar-winning chops, further tormenting us with her inability to choose between two good men: Peeta and Gale (Hemsworth), her pal back home. She certainly doesn't trust newcomers like the mouthy Johanna (Malone) or the too-hunky Finnick (Claflin).

How 'The Hunger Games' could have been in an alternative reality.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is beginning to open in cinemas worldwide after months of fevered anticipation. As we gear up to watch Katniss Everdeen and the people of Panem launch an uprising against the tyrannical powers of The Capitol, let's take a trip to an alternate dimension and see which other actors could have led the movie, had Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth not snagged the roles.
It's Hard To Imagine 'The Hunger Games' Starring Anyone Else.
We know it's hard to imagine anyone else in the three main Hunger Games roles but indulge us if you will whilst we present a glimpse into an alternative cast comprised of actors who reportedly auditioned for the roles.

The cast are hard at work promoting the second movie in the huge grossing franchise and all the indications suggest Catching Fire will eclipse the original and pull in millions more than most movies released this year.
The Cookie Monster stars in a spoof that aims to teach kids about patterns
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will arrive in cinemas this month amidst a flurry of excitement and anticipation from the film's already ardent following. Any event as big as a new Hunger Games movie is prone to receive its fair share of spoofing, and with 'The Hungry Games: Catching Fur,' the Sesame Street gang may have already come up with the best spoof of the all.

The stars came out in Italy but fans can expect no new Katniss adventures.
As The Hunger Games: Catching Fire premieres across the world, the sequel to the 2012 adaptation of Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games looks set to outperform its predecessor at the box office.
With a massive budget and a returning cast of superstars, the movie delves once more into Collins' teen fiction post-apocalyptic universe to reunite with Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Haymitch and the others as the Districts of Panem rise up in rebellion after the 74th Hunger Games victory.
Liam Hemsworth opened up about his ex-fiancé, Miley Cyrus, and stated he is "happy for all of her success."
The much anticipated sequel is predicted to be very successful at the box office and this must be why he is in such a good mood.
The 23 year-old seemed surprisingly comfortable talking about his ex-fiancé Miley Cyrus in a recent interview promoting the new movie, with his co-star Woody Harrelson.

Her co-stars scrubbed up for the London premiere pretty well too
The Odeon Cinema in London's Leicester Square was host to the world premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on Monday night (Nov 11), and the stars and guests were on hand to make a big impression as they graced the red carpet. Dressed to the nines, the place awash with beautiful people as they paraded their wares, and no one parades better than Jennifer Lawrence.
J-Law wowed the crowd with her backless number
Dressed in a backless white Dior gown, Lawrence looked impeccable as she oozed style whilst greeting fans and signing autographs down the red carpet. The actress thanked fans for showing up in their droves despite the torrid weather conditions, reportedly saying (via Variety) at one point: “I’ve been out here five minutes and I’m complaining!”
The second instalment of the movie franchise will arrive in cinemas worldwide on 22 November.
The Hunger Games will be back in less than one month, when The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is release worldwide in cinemas and IMAX. The big event will roll up on 22 November (that's only 23 days away!!!) and will pick up where the massively successful first film left off one year ago.
Our heroes discover unrest on their 'Victory Tour'
Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth are all back, joined by Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Sam Claflin, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman and a ton of other returnees and newcomers alike. With the release of the film ever nearer, the new trailer can hold our insatiable apetites for only a little longer, as Panem and its fictitious inhabitants seem to grow ever nearer.
Reports have emerged linking the singer to photographer Theo Wenner, with some saying the two have been dating since the summer
We've had pregnancy rumours, drug revelations and countless would-be relationships surrounding Miley Cyrus since she and Liam Hemsworth ended their engagement for good in the summer. However reports linking the 'Wrecking Ball' singer with photographer Theo Wenner have become more common recently, ones that actually seem to have some substance to them too. These reports include some specualtion surrounding how long she and Liam were separated for and whether or not Miley was seeing her potential new beau before their split for good.
Miley and Liam ended thing for good in September, or so they say
As Miley and Liam's relationship came to a close for good, it did look as though it was Miley - in particular with her embarrassing behaviour - that was to blame for things falling apart. But it might not have been her endless twerking that proved to be the final nail in the coffin, but her possible infidelity with the Rolling Stone photographer Wenner. According to a report from the Huffington Post, this could very well be the case. Either that, or Miley and Liam were putting on a front concerning their relationship long after it had ended.

The new relationship may have been going on since summer, away from the public eye.
Miley Cyrus, headline grabber extraordinaire, broke up her engagement to Liam Hemsworth less than a month ago, but she’s been charging on career-wise since then. Of course, we all know Ms Cyrus is a trooper (all child stars presumably need to be) but there might be another reason for her seemingly chipper spirits lately.
Miley might have a new man on her mind.
According to The Huffington Post, the singer has a new man in her life – Rolling Stone photographer Theo Wenner. Furthermore, the report states that the two may have been dating since this summer – since Miley’s provocative shoot for the magazine, to be more precise.
The magazine's latest cover girl made her interview a hands-on experience.
Music magazine Rolling Stone will feature pop sensation Miley Cyrus as their October issue's cover girl. The 20 year-old star, who predictably ditched all her clothes for the cover shoot, took RS writer Josh Eells on wild ride through the mind of pop's "wildest child."
Miley's Loving The Attention On Her At The Moment.
The prevailing impression we're left with in the article is that Miley doesn't care: not about her fans or her music, but about the press, the paparazzi and the rather negative press she's received since her raunchy MTV VMAs performance last month. In fact, Miley want the world to know she cares so little, she's even got a Roosevelt quote inked on her arm that reads "THAT HIS PLACE SHALL NEVER BE WITH THOSE COLD AND TIMID SOULS WHO NEITHER KNOW VICTORY NOR DEFEAT." In other words, "haters gonna hate."
The singer wore a completely see-through dress for the event, with only a black thong and some nipple tape covering her private bits
The latest over-the-top outfit Miley Cyrus has been modelling might be her most shocking yet, with the 'Wrecking Ball' singer dressing in a very revealing number for her recent appearance at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas. The singer wore a see-through mesh dress with some furry sleeves, with only a black thong and some black nipple tape covering up her private parts.
The singer was out to shock again with her latest wardrobe choice
The 20-year-old showed off her dominatrix-style outfit on the red carpet before she took to the stage, and would have probably earned a few more gasps if it wasn't for her recent array of revealing costumes and outlandish behaviour. When it was time for her to hit the stage, however, her actions were toned down (compared to say, her VMAs performance) and she even had a change of outfit into something a little less revealing, but still most likely inspired by the S&M section of the Victoria's Secret catalogue.

Amidst reports that Liam has moved on from Miley Cyrus already, González claims their run-in was coincidental and there's nothing behind the rumours
Earlier this week it looked as though Liam Hemsworth's relationship with Miley Cyrus had finally bitten the dust after the actor was spotted out in Las Vegas with Latino telenovela-star and singer Eiza González shortly after unfollowing the singer on Twitter. According to E! News, Eliza was visiting Vegas with friends and her run-in with Liam was purely coincidental, however the ensuing partying and their sighting back in Los Angeles went without explanation.
Liam and Miley ended things for good a few days ago
"Eiza is a real family girl and a good friend," the source told E! - going on to add that she and Hemsworth "just met" inVegas and had no prior arrangements to meet up. The source added, "They were there separately. She was there with some friends."
The sequel to the incredibly popular 'The Hunger Games' will arrive in cinemas in November, and you could win tickets to the premiere!
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be the second movie version of the popular 'Hunger Games' book series from author Suzanne Collins and following the massive succes of the first movie and the huge fan-base it has developed, the second movie is already drawing heaps of anticipation ahead of it's release. An online campaign is being run that will give some lucky people the chance to attend the premiere of the movie in Los Angeles via the movie's official Facebook page.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Is Coming...
#TickTock11 - referring to the date of the premiere; 11 November - is the name of this campaign that will send 75 different people to LA to watch the movie 11 days before anyone else, and if that wasn't good enough how about the prospect of seeing the film along with Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and the rest of the cast. Why 75? Because the next film revolves around Katniss and Peeta as they compete in the 75th annual Hunger Games.
The oft-talked about star has a new video out for her single 'Wrecking Ball' and as you may have expected, it's even more over the top than her last video
Miley Cyrus is at it again, channelling her inner Madonna by taking off her clothes for the sake of 'artistry.' This time round, the singer stripped down to nothing (and we mean nothing) but a pair of boots for the video for new single 'Wrecking Ball,' which the singer released via her Vevo on Monday, 9 September.
Miley hasn't really toned down at all for the new video
The video doesn't feature Miley engaging in her favourite hobby, twerking, nor does it feature the singer rocking an atrocious hair-do like she had at the VMAs or singing so openly about drugs (a la 'We Can't Stop'), but that doesn't mean she's turned things down at all. Quite the opposite actually.

The new casting announcement should come as exciting news for Hunger Games fans.
Excitement builds for the upcoming Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire, as well as for the last films, Mockingjay parts 1 and 2, as more of the cast is revealed. This week’s addition is Aussie actress Stef Dawson, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The flame-haired Dawson is a newcomer to the world of blockbuster franchises, having previously starred in shorts and indie productions. The announcement of her casting comes after last week’s announcement that Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer had also been cast in the third and fourth films in Lionsgate's popular YA adaptation.

The 'Drive Angry' actress is comfortable in the skin she's in.
Actress Amber Heard has openly voiced her feelings towards her sexuality in an interview with Elle. Reported by E! News, the 27 year-old, who now dates actor Johnny Depp, came out in 2010 and has since spoken about how although she doesn't see herself following a "standardised path," that's the way she likes life.
A Great Role Model, Amber Heard Is Proud Of Who She Is.
Speaking to the women's magazine, she spoke of how she has a tendency to shy away from the girl-next-door character types in favour of more active roles: "I try to play characters who are somehow empowered or strong," Heard said. "People want to put me in a wedding dress and make me the object of affection, but I'd much rather shoot the gun and save the world. I've always fought against what was expected of me as much as I could."

Engaged couple Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth seem to be in no rush to get married. Will it really happen?
Singer Miley Cyrus and her actor Liam Hemsworth have reportedly been engaged since 2012 but amidst a storm of on/off rumours, it's hard to tell whether they're still sweet on one another or not. Judging by Miley Cyrus' behaviour recently, you wouldn't think she was getting ready to settle down into married life. Engagement is the ultimate commitment for any couple, so you'd think she'd have more on her mind than partying hard, twerking, and making out with giant babies.
Miley Was Greeted By At Least 150 Fans When She Arrived At BBC Radio 1's London Studios.
Say what? Indeed, Cyrus was pictured in celeb-infested London nightclub Cirque le Soir getting off with a topless man wearing a bib and a seriously creepy baby head, reports The Daily Mail. Miley and pals Nicole Scherzinger and Pixie Geldof hit the clubs on a recent jaunt in London town but did they know photographers were lurking? With no official word of whether Cyrus and her fiancé have split yet, we can only assume that Cyrus didn't care whether her Hunger Games actor beau knew about this one.

After becoming the first duo to win the annual Hunger Games following its 74th year, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have spread hope among the people of Panem who now feel the possibility of a revolution. However, the Capitol realise how dangerous this could be for their ordered, totalitarian society and force them to compete once again, alongside 22 other previous winners in the The Quarter Quell - an event that happens every 25th years and allows the Capitol to invent a new twist for the year's Games. Tensions arise between Katniss and Peeta who both want the other to be the victor in the 75th Hunger Games and do everything within their power to protect each other.
'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' is the highly anticipated sequel to 2012's 'The Hunger Games'; the film adaptation to Suzanne Collins' sci-fi novel trilogy. Taking over from Gary Ross as director is Francis Lawrence ('I Am Legend', 'Constantine', 'Water for Elephants') with screenwriting from Simon Beaufoy ('The Full Monty', 'Slumdog Millionaire', '127 Hours') and Michael Arndt ('Oblivion', 'Toy Story 3', 'Little Miss Sunshine'), though we'll still see the same star cast reprising their roles. It is due to be released in cinemas everywhere on November 21st 2013.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is drawing ever closer for fans of the franchise.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire press conference was perhaps the biggest event to hit Comic-Con over the weekend, with Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz and Jena Malone turning out to present a brand new trailer for more than 6,000 fans.
Lawrence, who scooped the Oscar for Best Actress in February, is fast becoming one of Hollywood's most amiable stars. Her youth and slouchy attitude to fame allows her to connect perfectly with the franchise's audience and she brought her A-game to California.
When discussing training for the stunts she performs in the movie, Lawrence quipped that "the hardest stunt is probably still just basic running," to laughter in the hall.
The Hunger Games cast impressed the 6500 strong audience at the San Diego Comic-Con. Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutchinson impressed fans with their playful chatter whilst the trailer was greeted with an overwhelmingly favourable response.
The Hunger Games Comic-Con 2013 panel was a huge success. Six of the upcoming sequel Catching Fire's actors sat on the panel. These included: Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen); Josh Hutcherson (Peeta); Jeffrey Wright (Beetee); Lenny Kravitz (Cinna) and Liam Hemsworth (Gale).
Jennifer Lawrence at 66th Cannes Film Festival screening of Catching Fire.
Lawrence impressed fans with her anecdotes of clumsiness and her gentle humour. She commented on the difficulties she faced whilst filming physical scenes, stating "running and trying not to hit myself in the face with my bow, those were my two greatest challenges." She also referenced one scene in which she wears -in a propaganda photograph shoot- a vast wedding dress: five feet in diameter. Of the costume she said it "was one of the hardest things I've done in my life".
Jamie Oliver, despite having written twenty cookery books, has never finished reading a book.. Until now. The TV chef announced he has finished Suzanne Collins' sequel to 'The Hunger Games', 'Catching Fire'.
British chef Jamie Oliver has announced he's finished his first book: Suzanne Collins' Catching Fire. The chef, who has written over twenty cookery books, has never previously completed an entire book before. He said in an interview his dyslexia has always prevented him from finishing a book.
Oliver has not gone down the traditional route of reading the trilogy of books in order. That would be far too conventional but has instead started with the second of the three. We'd like to presume the cook had listened to the first novel or at least seen the film to get the general gist.

'Paranoia' appears to be a well-cast movie, including performances from Liam Hemsworth, Richard Dreyfuss and Gary Oldman.
Based on the 2004 novel of the same name, Liam Hemsworth's new movie Paranoia actually might not be instantly forgettable. The Hunger Games actor plays technology whizz Adam Cassidy who attempts to balance caring for his ailing father while working a low-paid job at a technology conglomerate. His fortunes begin to turn when his boss Nicholas Wyatt (Gary Oldman) offers him the chance to get rich quick.
Cassidy quickly learns that the job involves infiltrating the firm's biggest rival business (led by his old mentor Jock Goddard) in a dangerous act of espionage. Despite completing the job, Adam's resignation is refused - he now knows too much.
Adam Cassidy is a technology whizz who wants nothing more than to take care of his ailing father who is struggling to live in poverty-stricken retirement despite working all his life. He has a low-paid job at a massive technology corporation but is presented with the chance of a lifetime by his boss Nicholas Wyatt who tells him he can make him rich. However, this involves infiltrating the firm's biggest rival business led by Wyatt's old mentor Jock Goddard in a plot of dangerous espionage to uncover their biggest secret. He finally succeeds in obtaining a revolutionary piece of equipment and presenting it to Wyatt, but he finds himself trapped as his boss refuses to let him leave the company as he now knows too much. Realising that he and his beloved father are in danger not only from Wyatt but from Goddard as well after discovering their ploy, he sets out to use what they taught him to destroy what they built.
Based on the 2004 novel of the same name by Joseph Finder, 'Paranoia' has been directed by Robert Luketic ('Legally Blonde', 'Monster-in-Law', 'Killers') with a screenplay by Jason Dean Hall ('Spread') and Barry Levy ('Vantage Point'). This corporate action thriller is set to hit the US on August 16th 2013.
Miley Cyrus' new single is an R&B party anthem. Obviously.
Miley Cyrus has been in the headlines pretty much every day for the past couple of weeks. Her relationship with the Australian actor Liam Hemsworth is said to be on the rocks and her wedding plans in tatters, though the 20-year-old has dusted herself down and premiered the first single from her as-yet-untitled new album.
'We Can't Stop' - co-written by Cyrus, Mike Will and Rock City - is a sort of R&B party anthem that will no doubt feature in the upper echelons of the Billboard chart. Highlight lyrics include Miley wailing, "La-da-di-da-di, we like to party/Dancing with Molly, doing whatever we cant." With a vocal distortion effect, young Miley also says she's "shaking it like we at a strip club" and declares "It's my mouth, I can say what I want to." You sure can Miley, you sure can.
The singer first announced the single on the 'blue carpet' at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, confirming it would be the first single from the follow-up to 2010's Can't Be Tamed, set for release in the fall. "I feel like I can really be myself," Cyrus said of her next record, "I really have more of a connection of who I am, and I feel like I can maybe express that more in my music now."
