Liam Gallagher has fuelled rumours his band Beady Eye is set for a surprise appearance at the U.K.'s Glastonbury festival this weekend (28-30Jun13) with a teasing online message.

The rockers are not named as part of the official line-up for the iconic three-day event, which kicks off on Friday (28Jun13), but speculation is mounting they are planning a 'secret' performance following a report in a British newspaper on Wednesday (26Jun13).

Now frontman Gallagher has added to the gossip by seemingly confirming in a short message on Twitter.com that Beady Eye will play on one of the event's stages on Friday morning.

He writes, "11am Friday - Be there or Be square... Lg x"

Beady Eye has not performed at Glastonbury before but Gallagher played at the event several times with his previous band Oasis, including headline slots in 1995 and 2004.
