Hollywood star Leonardo Dicaprio was shocked to discover his fame stretches to Africa when filming new movie BLOOD DIAMOND.
The 32-year-old actor admits he still finds it hard to accept the attention his starring role in 1997 movie Titanic brings, insisting his achievements as an actor are separate from his everyday life.
Discussing his popularity in Africa with Empire magazine, he recalls, "I had no idea, and it was funny at times, because we'd walk into stores and they'd have, like, Titanic cologne with my face on it. Key chains and stuff like that!
"But how do you react to something like that? It's an image that's separate from you as a person. It's reflective of something you did as an actor, certainly, but I don't know how to react to things like that as a person."
