Seriously? These guys have never been named Sexiest Man Alive?
So Dwayne Johnson was named People's Sexiest Man Alive this year; a decision that has been the source of both praise and confusion. Praise because he's an excellent role model with enormous muscles and because he's mixed race, and confusion because all the obvious choices haven't been exhausted yet.
Here are ten more Hollywood heartthrobs who deserve to be named 'Sexiest Man Alive' sooner rather than later.
Leonardo Dicaprio at the 2016 Oscars
His work lives on 400 years after his death.
To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of the world's most renowned playwright William Shakespeare, we reflect on the best interpretations of his work that have ever hit the big screen. From all Kenneth Branagh's flawless performances to Baz Luhrmann's brave modern adaptation, these are simply the best moments of Shakespeare in cinema.
'Henry V' was Kenneth Branagh's directorial debut
1. Henry V (1989): Kenneth Branagh's directorial debut and a career he never looked back from since, 'Henry V' was followed by 'Much Ado About Nothing', 'Hamlet' and 'Love's Labour's Lost'. Branagh has starred in every Shakespeare film he's directed apart from 'As You Like It', and directed every Shakespearean film he's ever starred in apart from 'Othello'. 'Henry V' won Best Costume Design at the Oscars, with nominations for Best Director and Actor.
Good guys gone very, very bad.
Some actors are born to play bad guys; Christoph Waltz, Christopher Lee, Alan Rickman. We're comfortable with them being the antagonist. However, some evil roles come from actors that are so unlikely, it seriously gives us the creeps. Patrick Stewart is only the latest to warp our perception of him.
Here are ten of our favourite moments actors have gone beyond the good guy stereotype:

Yes Rose did just leave Jack to die at the end of Titanic, even Kate Winslet knows it.
Titanic stars Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio have been spending a lot of time together recently, as both actors are out on the awards show circuit. But while pictures of Leo and Kate together have been bringing back a lot of feels for Titanic fans, the two actors can’t believe that 20 years on there’s still so much love for Jack and Rose.
Kate Winslet has been speaking about her Titanic role.
Appearing on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’, Winslet was first forced to admit what we’d all been thinking for the past two decades, yes Rose did just leave Jack to die in those icy waters.

Leonardo Dicaprio has revealed he slept in animal carcasses and ate raw bison on the set of new movie The Revenant. In the Western, directed by Alejandro G. Speaking to Yahoo Movies, DiCaprio said, "I can name 30 or 40 sequences that were some of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do. Whether it’s going in and out of frozen rivers, or sleeping in animal carcasses, or what I ate on set. (I was) enduring freezing cold and possible hypothermia constantly.”
It was a night filled with big name duets at the annual Global Citizen Fest.
Ed Sheeran must have felt like he was dreaming on Saturday night, when he got to join Beyonce onstage at the 2015 Global Citizen Festival for a duet of her hit song ‘Drunk in Love’. Sheeran frequently covers the track but this was the first time he had performed his stripped down acoustic version with Queen Bey herself.

Beyonce brought out Sheeran mid-way through her set which had already included Destiny’s Child classics and a remix of ‘Crazy in Love’. But the New York crowd went wild for the Sheeran duet, which was a highlight of the already star studded festival.

Could this be the film that provides the 40-year-old actor with that elusive Oscar?
Leonardo Dicaprio has rarely put a foot wrong throughout his illustrious movie career. Even those who sit in the dislike camp of Titanic are regularly outdone by the numbers who strongly sit on the like side. Unfortunately, there is still one thing missing from Leo’s artistic collection: an Oscar. Could The Revenant be the film to right that wrong?
This trailer certainly suggests it has as good a chance as any.
Hugh Glass is a skilled hunter, experienced in trapping some of the most predatory of beasts in the American West in order to claim their fur. However, it all goes wrong one day when he and his three friends and companions John Fitzgerald, Andrew Henry and Jim Bridger are travelling some untouched territory. They are confronted by a bear who wastes no time in viciously attacking Glass, leaving the other three men to flee without a second glance. Unfortunately for them, Glass is not dead after his mauling, and he's not happy about being left for dead by the people he's supposed to be able to trust. Determined to survive on his own even as a particularly bitter winter sets in, he just wants to find the cowards that betrayed him and take revenge.

Playing a man with 24 different personalities is a sure fire way to score an Oscar....right?
Leonardo Dicaprio really wants an Oscar doesn't he? He really wants an Oscar. He probably hasn't deserved an Oscar yet, though you've got to feel a little sorry for the guy. As if to rub salt in the wounds, Matthew McConaughey turned up in The Wolf of Wall Street, banged his chest for a bit, stole the movie and then beat Leo at the Oscars for another movie.

October 9th release date for the Boyle / Sorkin collaboration, just in time for awards season.
The troubled Steve Jobs biopic has finally announced a theatrical release date of October 9th this year. Strangely enough, that’s exactly the kind of time that judges start to think about awards nominations…
Shooting for the film, which has been the centre of a great deal of speculation because of its lengthy gestation and uncertain funding, began last month in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Danny Boyle, the man behind cult favourites such as Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire and 28 Days Later, as well as the London Olympics opening ceremony in 2012, is in the director’s chair.

Leonardo DiCaprio is currently starring as a mythic fur trapper and frontiersman in Alejandro González Iñárritu's follow up to 'Birdman'.
'Birdman' still has yet to open in some countries and already has multiple Academy Award nominations. One of these nomination is a 'Best Director' nod for Alejandro González Iñárritu, which will certainly help with his upcoming film's promotion. Said film is already in production, as it happens, and its premise alone is about as far away from 'Birdman' as you can get.
Leonardo Dicaprio as the mythic trapper John Glass in 'The Revenant'
'The Revenant' is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Michael Punke, and follows the story of American fur trapper Hugh Glass, who was injured by a grizzly bear on a hunt, and left for dead by his fellow trappers. After coming to and discovering that he had suffered horrific wounds before being left 200 miles from civilisation, Glass was forced to crawl that distance through an area of disputed land that various Native American tribes were fighting over. All the time, Glass was unarmed, alone, and close to death from his wounds. And if you haven't guessed by now, yes, it is based on a true story.
