Singer Leona Lewis is set to take a step away from her trademark ballads - superproducer Timbaland is reportedly working on dance music with the Brit superstar.
The former X Factor winner is famed for emotive tracks such as Bleeding Love and Run, but the The Way I Are hitmaker is keen to change her musical direction.
Timbaland, who has worked with Madonna and Justin Timberlake, is hoping to make her sound similar to that of R&B big-shots Beyonce Knowles and Rihanna, according to Britain' Daily Mirror newspaper.
A source tells the newspaper, "Timbaland can't wait to work with Leona and make her feisty like Beyonce and Rihanna.
"The ballads will still be there but the tracks will be racier and there'll be dancefloor anthems too."
