British singer Leona Lewis is hobbling around on crutches after injuring her leg in a horse riding accident.
The Bleeding Love star, 24, was taken to hospital in Los Angeles on Wednesday (30Dec09) where she was treated for suspected torn ligaments following a fall from her horse.
A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Leona was riding... and fell off when the horse started galloping too fast.
"She went to accident and emergency. It was pretty scary. She had quite a tumble."
But the insider insists Lewis is recovering well and will soon be back in the saddle: "It hasn't put her off riding. She's fine and will be back on her horse soon."
And the pop star refused to let her mishap ruin her plans for New Year's Eve (31Dec09) - she still managed to party into 2010 at soul singer Robin Thicke's bash at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
