Gabriella Cilmi enjoyed supporting Leona Lewis on tour, but admits she had very little contact with the 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker.
Leona Lewis rarely spoke to her support act on tour.
The 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker was joined at 20 of her 'Labyrinth' shows by 'Defender' singer Gabriella Cilmi, and while the teenage star was excited to be on the road with Leona, she admits they had very little contact.
Gabriella exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It was very fun, but I didn't really see Leona that much, although she did give me a little letter before we started the tour, saying, 'It was a pleasure to share a stage with you.'
"I met her. well, I bumped into her a couple of times but she had so much press and promotional stuff to do.
"But it was cool because I got to play four nights at The O2 Arena in London, and there were massive crowds which were pretty much full when I was on stage. So that was pretty cool."
While Gabriella, 18, insists she admires Leona - who is a strict vegetarian - she doesn't share her tastes in catering.
Gabriella - who has opened nominations for the vinspired National Awards to celebrate and recognise young volunteers for the inspirational work they do - added: "The Leona tour was great, but the only problem was the catering - they only had vegetarian food, whereas I like to eat meat. So it wasn't great for me."
