British stars Leona Lewis and Plan B have signed up to perform at a special London concert to mark the 2012 Olympic Games.
Bbc Radio 1's Hackney Weekend 2012 will be part of a national celebration in the run-up to the Olympics, which will be held in the British capital next summer (12).
And Lewis insists she "couldn't be happier" about performing in Hackney, where she grew up.
The singer says, "To be a part of this event is so important to me. Radio 1 are going to put on the biggest show in their history and it's happening in east London."
The concert will take place on 23 and 24 June (12) with 100,000 free tickets made available.
