Multi-talented Lena Dunham will soon be able to add author to her resume after making plans to publish her first book.

The actress/writer/director, who is the creator and star of hit TV show Girls, has written a modern version of Helen Gurley Brown's famous 1962 advice book Sex and the Single Girl, which encouraged women to become financially independent and experience relationships without marriage.

Dunham's book is titled Not That Kind of Girl and is set to land her an estimated $1 million (£625,000) publishing deal, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
