Former Dallas star Leigh Taylor-Young is asking a judge to dissolve her domestic partnership - so she can get married to the same man.
The actress and her partner John Morton have been registered in a legal domestic partnership since 2008, but they want to end the arrangement so they can walk down the aisle.
According to Tmz.com, the pair recently filed papers at Los Angeles County Superior Court, with lawyers writing in the documents, "The parties intend to get married, so they must dissolve their registered domestic partnership."
Taylor Young was previously married to actor Ryan O'Neal. The pair divorced in 1973 after six years.
In the U.S., a domestic partnership is a legal relationship between two individuals who are not joined by marriage or a civil union.
