U.S. Tv personality Leeza Gibbons became the boss of the boardroom after beating newsman Geraldo Rivera on reality contest Celebrity Apprentice.

The Tv presenter faced off against Rivera on Monday night's (16Feb15) finale, during which the two were head-to-head in a task to create a 90-second commercial for Universal Resorts and sell 10 vacation packages for as much money as they could.

Gibbons recruited friend Olivia Newton-John to help with the event, raising $324,000 (£202,500) as opposed to journalist Rivera's $146,000 (£91,250).

Show boss Donald Trump ultimately named Gibbons the winner, and her final fundraising total of $714,000 (£446,250) for the whole season will be donated to her charity, Leeza's Care Connection, an organisation dedicated to those suffering with Alzheimer's disease.

Gibbons managed to beat the likes of actress Vivica A. Fox, pop star Kevin Jonas, and actors Ian Ziering and Lorenzo Lamas for the title.
