Leann Rimes has lashed out at speculation that she is suffering from an eating disorder.
Leann Rimes, the American country singer-songwriter, has defended her thin frame, insisting that she is "healthy", reports the Toronto Sun.The 28-year-old has been the subject of online criticism in recent weeks, mostly targeted at her slim figure. One photograph in particular, which highlights Rimes' tiny frame, prompted fans to flood her Twitter page with messages of concern. However, the singer hit back at her critics and insisted that she is not ill, telling twitter followers, "I don't care about the dumb articles. I know how healthy I am. Maybe those people should start taking care of themselves... inside and out", she added, "Maybe it's time for a nude pic so peeps can see how I look nowhere near what these stupid pics are trying to make me look like, Lol (laugh out loud)."
Leann Rimes also began repeatedly referencing snacks that she was eating throughout the day, telling fans, "Just had some kind of doughnut hazelnut cream thingy for dessert at lunch!" She later said, "banana and coffee is all my stomach can hold this early".
