Leann Rimes, the American country singer songwriter, has admitted her affair with Eddie Cibrian "could have been handled better". The couple, now happily married, began an affair while working together on the movie 'Northern Lights' - Cibrian left his wife Brandi Glanville shortly afterwards.
Speaking on Thursday's Ellen Degeneres show, Rimes conceded the pair made questionable decisions after meeting, saying, "Obviously, Eddie and I made decisions that were not necessarily the right ones, but it obviously brought us to a place where we are now". The singer went on to explain, "And we're happy, and we're married and we always put his kids first and take his kids into consideration with everything that we do." Rimes briefly spoke about the wave of criticism she has received for her bony figure, saying, "I've kind of gotten over it when it comes to do with myself.Like you said, these are diseases and using them as name calling. It's almost bullying". Earlier this week, her husband Eddie had told Access Hollywood Live the criticism 'bothered him', but added, "I know she's healthy. She eats more than I do sometimes. She eats pretty healthy, but she works out pretty hard too."
Rimes released her thirteenth studio album 'Lady & Gentlemen' on 27th September 2011. The singer co-produced the record with country singer Vince Gill and DARRELL BROWN.
