It was the 'Glee' actress' turn in front of the Miley photographer's lens.
Lea Michele has appeared in a racy new photoshoot for the famous fashion photographer Terry Richardson, who recently shot Miley Cyrus. The Glee actress is featured in this month's issue of V Magazine with an interview and a series of risqué shots where she bares plenty of flesh for Richardson's camera.
Lea Michele Has Bared (Most) In A New Terry Richardson Photoshoot.
As the world waits for the imminent drop of Michele's first solo album, Louder, on the 4th March, Lea discusses her music, how the girl in Terry's new snaps isn't really her, and the painful aftermath of the death of her Glee co-star and boyfriend, Cory Monteith.
Monteith, who was 31 when he died from an overdose on the 13th July last year, left a wound so deep within the Fox show that showrunner Ryan Murphy was forced to announce that the musical TV show's next season would be its last.
The absence of her love and the ensuing media frenzy proved difficult to deal with for the 27 year-old Michele and she kept herself out of the spotlight for months. Now that Lea has found her courage again, she's ready to be open about her feelings and focus on her career.
She spoke specifically of the track 'You're Mine' from her album, which was added after the album was finished and is her favourite song in the collection. "The album was done, and the label said, "Do you want to add anything?" I was like, "I might regret it if I don't." It makes me so happy, this song," Lea explained, adding "It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think of him, I play this," via The Daily Mail.
Fans have congratulated the actress on her daring as she's pictured in various swimsuits and leotards wearing stiletto heels. In the most striking of all the snaps, Lea smoulders in a cobalt blue playsuit, pulling one side of the bikini section down to expose the dove tattoo on her hip. Richardson is known for his gritty, often pornographic shots but Lea's fans have praised the star for staying on the right side of sexy without descending into tasteless.
The Actress Claims Her Friends Call Her "Grandma" Due To Her Love Of Quiet Night & Cats.
Regardless of the vixen image portrayed in the jaw-dropping new pics, the actress revealed that that kind of person really isn't her, to the extent that her closest friends call her "Grandma." "I don't like things that other people like," Lea revealed. "I don't like clubs or crazy, loud music. I don't drink a lot, and maybe that makes me boring, but I'd rather be in bed watching Homeland with my cat, Sheila, eating a sandwich."
"My friends call me Grandma, but like, Grandma's killing it right now," the starlet, who stuns in a variety of sexy ensembles brags to the publication. "I'm pretty sure Grandma nailed it in a half-naked Terry Richardson shoot, okay? So I'm fine with it. I just do my thing. I do what's best for me. That's it."
