In a matter of days, the Twitter accounts of two 'Glee' stars have been hacked...but why?
Someone is targeting the cast of 'Glee.'
Michele is NOT pregnant
"Before this gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant #BabyBoy," said the tweet, announcing the exciting news.
Initially fans showed their excitement for Michele and her new boyfriend Matthew Paetz, but before long it was clear this wasn't accurate.
Reporters for Buzzfeed quickly confirmed that the singer's rep said her Twitter account had been hacked.
"I was HACKED! Guess @chriscolfer and I should have known better then to make our passwords the names of our cats," Michele also tweeted shortly after.
The 'New Years Eve' actress's hacked Twitter account comes only one day after her 'Glee' co-star Chris Colfer was the victim of a hacker, who posted a fake message that stated he had been fired from the musical TV series due to "personal reasons."
"Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE," he fake tweet read. "Explanations will come shortly..."
The actor's manager later revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that when the tweet was posted, Colfer was in a mid-Atlantic flight without Wi-Fi access, confirming that he was hacked.
Colfer is still returning for season six of 'Glee'
20th Century Fox also publically stated about the 24 year-old's fake tweet, and reiterated that he will be returning for season six.
"We've been alerted that Chris Colfer's Twitter account has been hacked. Rumors of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth," the statement read. "We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season."
