Actress Lea Delaria Has Found A Way To Honour Her Late Parents On Her Wedding Day By Holding The Ceremony On Their Anniversary.
The Orange is The New Black star will wed fashion editor Chelsea Fairless on 8 January (17).
She tells U.S. chat show The View, "I need it to be January 8th because my parents have both passed and that's their wedding anniversary. So it's my way of having them there."
DeLaria recently detailed her plans for the non-traditional wedding ceremony, explaining she and Fairless have opted to skip a sit-down dinner and head straight for the dance floor.
They are also setting up food trucks at the nuptials, which will be officiated by comedienne Sandra Bernhard.
