Dance stars LCD Soundsystem are set to release a photobook chronicling their seven-year career.

The tome, published by Powerhouse Books, looks back on the band's story from its inception to the controversial split at the height of their fame last year (11).

Photographer Ruvan Wijesooriya has travelled with the Grammy-nominated band since 2004, capturing their every private and public moment and taking thousands of photographs.

In a statement, former frontman James Murphy says, "All of Ruvan's pictures remind me of that feeling: that you're geographically f**ked, and it's all happening right now, somewhere else, without you. There's an enormous amount of intimacy in them, and promise, and intrusion."
