Danny Pino Confirms He Is Leaving 'Law & Order: SVU'


DANNY PINO Law And Order

DANNY PINO is leaving Law And Order: Special Victims Unit. Pino has played Detective Nick Amaro on the hit NBC show since 2011 when he was hired to replace Christopher Meloni's Elliott Stabler.

The 41-year-old actor confirmed the news on Twitter on Wednesday (20th May). Pino thanked the cast and crew of the series for "4 fantastic seasons". He also thanked fans for their support throughout his time on the show.

It is not clear whether or not they are currently filming or taking a break, but the director can be heard to shout 'Background action!' in the background.
