Actress Zoe Saldana impressed E! Online with her stunning black gown with sheer panels at the 2012 Cfda Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall.

Also sparkling on the red carpet were redhead Jessica Chastain in doll-like white dress; model Selita Ebanks also in white but with a longer, more fitted style; Sophia Bush from 'One Tree Hill' in an orangey-red number with a sophisticated slit up the front and an elegant train; honourees Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in simple, loose black and purple frocks respectively; and former model Lauren Hutton who abandoned the traditional dress for a more casual t-shirt with white suit jacket and pants

The Joneses Review

Good
A darkly comical satire about affluence might seem a bit ill-timed during a global recession. But a strong cast makes this film very watchable, even as it slips into melodrama.

When the gorgeous Kate and Steve Jones (Moore and Duchovny) move into a wealthy suburb with their equally alluring teens Jenn and Mick (Heard and Hollingsworth), the locals notice their fabulous clothes, gadgets and cars. And of course start trying to keep up with them. But the Joneses aren't a family: they're a team of marketing experts whose performances are measured by how they affect sales in this town. And as they work to keep their boss (Hutton) happy, their neighbours (Headley and Cole) are paying a heavy price.

The Gambler (1974) Review

Excellent
James Toback wrote this long-forgotten look at the gambling mind back in the early 1970s, but it remains one of the most accurate and stirring portraits of the betting mentality ever put to film.

James Caan owns the movie, as a vey charismatic English professor with a bad gambling addiction -- he borrows money from his girlfriend (Lauren Hutton), his mother, and the mob, and invariably he loses it all. Why play? Because of the thrill. In one scene, when he doubles down on 18 during a game of blackjack (for casino novices: this is absolute insanity), our antihero actually wins. Eventually, though, even the best streak goes bust, and it's in Caan's darkest hours that the movie shines the most.

Caracara Review

Grim
Wow, this HBO thriller started off as interesting, with Henstridge playing a lonely scientist whose sole companion is a caracara (a type of hawk). I was expecting The Falcon and the Snowman. But no, soon enough, "FBI agents" take over her apartment but they turn out to be phonies! Oh dear! They're actually a hit squad out to kill [drum roll] Nelson Mandela!!! By the time Johnathon Schaech starts shooting at people with a contraption that fires arrows instead of bullets, you will long since have tuned out.

Just A Little Harmless Sex Review

Grim
In the grand tradition of fine, adult fare like Body Shots comes this unforgettable Jonathan Silverman vehicle featuring a man (and his two friends) who "accidentally" cheats on his wife (and her two friends)... and the one night none of them will forget! Wow, I should go into promo copywriting. Anyway, this embarrassing bit of fluff is essentially harmless yet overwhelmingly forgettable, with the possible exception of Kimberly Williams' drunken strip tease wherein she loses only her shirt. Talk about phony advertising....
