'The Hills' reality star Lauren Conrad attends a book signing and photo session at Barnes and Noble in New York City to promote her new book 'Starstruck' and also 'Lauren Conrad Beauty'. There is much confusion between Lauren and the paparazzi as to what type of shots they want. There are shouts of 'Fashion shot first' and 'Without the book first' but in the end Lauren poses with one of her publications and insists 'I'm gonna give you without the book too!'.
'Starstruck' is a novel about the realities of fame and describing the life of a fame-addicted reality star who ends up getting involved with theft and subsequently turning herself in for which she receives community service and starts to feel ignored by the media.
