The reality TV star- who debuted her LC by Lauren Conrad line in 2009 - is excited about the forthcoming event as it will be the first time she has sent her own creations down the runway in the city.
She said: "This upcoming New York fashion week I'm hoping to show. I've done LA before and never New York, so that's exciting."
The 24-year-old beauty loves attending fashion events, but she tries not to attend too many catwalk shows because the preparations are so extensive.
She explained in an interview with Young Hollywood Studios: "It's fun, you can only do a few of the shows because it becomes work - you have to wear the designer and do all your hair and make-up beforehand, so they're fun if you only do a few."
Lauren recently debuted a new brunette look but she insists her transition from blonde has been a slow process that people have only just started to notice.
She said: "I've been changing my hair over the last six months, I've been slowly going darker and it's only the last time people have noticed. I think it's because I don't do red carpets very often so no one noticed. I change my hair every two months."
