Lauren Conrad serves healthy snacks at her Super Bowl party.
The former 'Laguna Beach' star intends to watch the NFL showpiece game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday (02.02.14) but she won't be pigging out on traditional game day food like chicken wings, chips and beer.
Lauren took part in a Twitter Q&A for Us Weekly magazine and when asked by one user on the social networking website if she had any tips for throwing a Super Bowl party, she replied: ''I love a healthy version of Super Bowl snacks. I make yummy cauliflower baked in hot sauce in lieu of hot wings ... I also make a pitcher of light #malibuislandspiced cocktails for everyone. Yum! (sic)''
Lauren was also quizzed on how she keeps up her fitness regime in the cold winter months when many people struggle to get out and exercise.
However, the 27-year-old beauty has an ingenious way of beating the winter blues - she just doesn't leave California.
When posed the question ''what do you do to stay fit in the winter?'' Lauren said: ''Luckily California is nice year round so my routine doesn't change much. Gym, Hiking and watching what I eat ( and drink) (sic)''
