Lauren Conrad is preparing to walk down the aisle with her boyfriend of two years, William Tell.

The reality star made this big announcement on her own blog site this Sunday (Oct 13th).

“I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend,” Conrad wrote.

“I am beyond thrilled! Get ready for lots more wedding content here on as we begin the planning process.”

The 27 year-old also posted a photo of her spectacular engagement ring, which consisted of a rather large solitaire diamond on a basic golden ring.

She later added, “William and I are overwhelmed by all of your warm wishes. Thank you so much for sharing in this special moment :-).”

According to the Us Weekly, Tell and Conrad began dating back in 2012 on Valentine’s Day and new her fiancé is a 33 year-old law student at USC.

Lauren become known to the public with her appearing on a reality show about her high school that aired on MTV called ‘Laguna Beach: The Real Orange Country’, in which Conrad was one of the main focuses of the show.

Upon the success of the reality show, MTV decided to film a spin off series when Conrad moved to Los Angeles called ‘The Hills’. It documented the antics of herself and flatmates, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port and Heidi Montag.

It also included the Kardashians step-brother, Brody Jenner. Conrad became very successful after ‘The Hills’ popularity increased as she was able to kick-start a fashion career by creating a line of clothing, jewellery and shoes for Kohl’s department stores.

The former reality-star also is the author of New York Times bestseller ‘L.A Candy’ which was released back in 2009.

There were also celebrations on her twitter as she posted “We’re engaged!” whihc was accompanied by a link to her blog site.

For the devoted fans of ‘The Hills’ it looks like the reconciliation between LC and Brody Jenner is very unlikely to ever happen as Conrad will finally be planning to tie the knot, a date has not yet been announced.
