Lauren Conrad, the former star of reality series 'The Hills', has tweeted a photograph of her new "cotton candy bun" hairstyle. The socialite had previously showed off her peach-colored locks in October 2011, which she did after readers of her beauty blog 'Beauty Department' voted for the color.
Often changing her style, Conrad also opted to go brunette for several months last year and has in the past experimented with blue, green and purple dip dye. The latter change came after she ended her relationship with actor Kyle Howard in July 2011 after three years of dating, according to OnTheRedCarpet.com. Revealing her latest style to Twitter followers, Conrad attached a picture of her pink roots, adding, "My cotton candy bun". Response was overwhelming positive on the micro-blogging site, with one fan commenting, "Such a soft and pretty style! Love it" and another looking to recreate the style, asking, "Is there a tutorial as to how to do your hair like that?". The new look comes shortly after Conrad announced she was teaming up with sustainable lifestyle company BlueAvocado to create her own eco-friendly line of cosmetic and travel products. Speaking to MTV News, the reality star said, "The BlueAvocado partnership represents a synergy of things I love to do-design great products, enable women to realize their dreams, and inspire thoughtful action".
Lauren began her television career aged 17, appearing on 'Laguna Beach'. She went on to snatch the main role in the hugely popular spin-off 'The Hills', which ended in July 2010.
