Lauren Conrad's plans to conquer the fashion world have stalled - THE HILLS star has scrapped her upcoming collection due to the global credit crunch.
The reality TV personality launched her eponymous clothing range, The Lauren Conrad Collection, in 2007 following her success on the popular MTV show.
But her range soon hit trouble after celebrity favourite store Kitson in Hollywood dropped the line when the star's designs failed to prove a hit with shoppers.
Now, Conrad has pulled all plans to launch a spring/summer line, and has put her designs on hold for the immediate future.
Her representative tells New York gossip column PageSix, "With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon."
