The Hustler boss, a long-standing liberal campaigner in the States, is disgusted by the support the controversial tycoon is garnering in his bid for the White House since opening his campaign with a headline-grabbing speech attacking Mexican immigrants.

Trump, who provoked a storm by suggesting many Mexicans in the U.S. are "rapists" and drug dealers, is reportedly the front runner for the Republican Party nomination for the 2016 election, but Flynt is adamant he is simply appealing to poorly-educated "low-information voters".

Flynt tells Cover Media, "I think Trump's an idiot, and he's got a bunch of idiots following him around. He's leading that whole clown car of Republican candidates. And what's really disturbing is thinking about who's going to vote for him. The people who watch The Jerry Springer Show probably will, and he'll get the low-information voters and folks who can't count to 10."
