Openly gay pop star Lance Bass has revealed some major career opportunities went Bye Bye Bye after he 'came out' in a magazine article.

The former 'Nsync star admits he was on the verge of some huge solo deals when he revealed all about his sexuality in a People magazine expose in 2006, and the big announcement cost him dearly.

In a new interview with Los Angeles radio DJ Valentine, Bass says, "I definitely felt coming out really hurt pretty much all of the products I was working on at the time.

"They cancelled a bunch of the stuff... and that really set me back for years... so I had to go back and redevelop tons of other stuff for Tv and film."
